Many of Yoko Ono’s poems from Grapefruit read like spells.
If you’re a witch, spells will probably come easy to you. Otherwise, you could think of them as a set of instructions that produce an effect: typically it’s something you want. With Yoko Ono’s poems, beginning each sentence with an imperative packs a punch. You could experiment with this.
